JAKARTA - The wide film, Glenn Fredly The Movie directed by Lukman Sardi, will be the acting debut event for singer Ruth Sahanaya. In this film, the diva that was born in Bandung plays Linda, Glenn Fredly's mother.

Ruth tells the challenges she faces when playing the character Linda who is a strong soul figure, while in her original life, Ruth admits that she is a cryy person.

"For me, it's really difficult because I'm a cryy person, I'm really crying fast, while he demands that Mas Lukman (Lukman Sardi) doesn't really need tears. So for me, acting extra difficult is a bit extra difficult," said Ruth, quoted from ANTARA, Monday, March 25.

First time starring in a big screen film, Ruth was greatly helped by acting coaches who taught her how to play a role well.

To further explore Linda's character, he explained, Ruth also met and spoke directly with the mother of the Ambon-blooded singer.

"I also met her own Mama Linda so that at least I could find out, from talking, we could find out what her own soul was and how at least at least there were gestures that represented Linda's mother and her voice would also be like that even if it wasn't entirely the same," he said.

Even though she felt insecure while acting, Ruth admitted that she was addicted to acting and playing films again.

"I'm starting to enjoy the shooting atmosphere, right, this is a new atmosphere, something else than usual and meeting a new environment, so I think I'm going to be addicted," he said.

For him, the role in the film Glenn Fredly The Movie was presented for Glenn Fredly, who in 2016 presented an award concert for Ruth titled Glenn Fredly's Eyemark for Ruth Sahanaya.

"He (Glenn Fredly) made it for me a Taman Mata concert, so the first artist was me. He made it his idea was because he was inspired to make a concert for me so it was my feeling of insensitivity to play the role of Linda's mother, this was closed with my taste to give Glenn a turning sign by acting. this," he concluded.
