JAKARTA - Actor Chen Xiao and actress Tong Yao were brought together through the latest Chinese drama, Simple Days. This drama is an adaptation of Yi Bei's Xiao Ri Zi novel.

Directed by An Jian, this romance drama will capture the married life of a couple who are trying to maintain their relationship.

Simple Days tells the story of Gu Mo Li (Tong Yao) and Zhu Jin Cao (Chen Xiao) who get married and decide to stay away from Shanghai. Their marriage turns out to be another problem that shouldn't be a problem with their relationship with their parents.

When they live with their parents, they feel the loss of their private space, disputes with their parents, and disputes between the two, the life of this young couple is full of crises. When things get out of control, the couple realizes that the problem is their own doing.
