Parasyte Series: The Grey Adaptation Manga Express Release Date

JAKARTA - The Parasyte: The Gray series from Netflix is confirmed to air this year. After being announced on Next on Netflix, the streaming service announced that the legendary manga adaptation series will soon air in the first half.

Parasyte: The Gray tells the story of Su In (Jeon So Nee) who goes through life when he coexists with the presence of a parasite. On the other hand, there is a group of Grey Teams trying to find parasites in the world that live from the bodies of human beings.

The manga made by Hitoshi Iwaaki, which sold more than 25 million copies, was successfully adapted into a live-action format in its home country. Now, it is South Korea's turn to present this experience directed by Yeon Sang Ho after the success of the Hellbound series.

I am very happy that this is a new story. Even though I wrote the original manga, I am also an audience who is looking forward to being happy and amazed. When this manga adaptation was made in Japan, the manga 'parasyte' was like my 'child' who was born in a small room, "said Hitoshi Iwaaki.

"I am very happy that this 'grandson' was born in Korea and I believe the 'new story' set in a different location will bring us into a world that exceeds my imagination," he said.

Yeon Sang Ho also revealed When I was in my 20s, Parasyte was a must for anyone who enjoyed manga and animation."

"Having the opportunity to create a work based on it and creating something new is not only a great honor, but also like my dream at a young age come true," he continued.

Besides Jeon So Nee, Parasyte: The Gray stars Koo Kyo Hwan, Lee Jung Hyun, Kwon Hae Hyo, Kim In Kwon, and others. Parasyte: The Gray will release all of its episodes on April 5, 2024 on Netflix.
