JAKARTA - Comedian Opie Kumis is known to have registered as a candidate for legislative member in the electoral district (dapil) 6 DKI Jakarta by joining the PAN party.

But unfortunately Opie Kumis' vote acquisition until February 19 yesterday only won 2,149 votes, which means she is threatened with failing to occupy the legislative seat.

Seeing this, this 63-year-old man already has a backup plan if he is declared a failure in the 2024 election. He admitted that he had planned to become a Muray bird farmer.

"Until now, from these friends, I have opened Murai's cattle in the Kuningan area, West Java and friends, there is a Mandor Bang, there is a Haji Adi, there is a Bule Bang," said Opie Kumis in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, February 20.

The owner's real name Muchtar Luthfi admits that he already has 75 pairs of Muray birds that are ready to be sold. Opie herself said that the proceeds from the sale were not to be used again as loose capital but to feed orphans.

"So I told him 'Let's build Muray's farm, coincidentally there are 75 pairs of goods that will be sold later', we collect a little bit, we help orphans in what way now," he explained.

"Maybe later there will be business to do what it's done, what else is it that now the orphans can eat even if they're a little," explained Opie Kumis.
