Producer Explains Reasons For Postponed La Tahzan Film Screening

JAKARTA - The film La Tahzan, produced by MD Pictures, had to experience a delay in its release schedule. Manoj Punjabi, the film's producer, revealed that the delay in filming was the main reason for this decision.

"Not yet, (the film La Tahzan) we have postponed. We resigned because we were too hasty, didn't catch up, the shooting was delayed, delayed, only 22 or 23 May the last day of filming, it was already Eid," said Manoj Punjabi in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday, March 13.

Manoj explained that he did not want to rush into the post-production stage, especially in terms of music and editing.

"I don't want our big film to rush the post, I give you music for 2 weeks, it's impossible, it's really a shame," he continued.

Initially, Manoj planned to release La Tahzan on May 28 because the date was considered strategic with a long holiday period. However, in order to maintain the quality of the film, he finally chose to sacrifice this momentum.

"At first I wanted to catch the deadline because on May 28 it was a very, very good date, yes, it took almost a long day, so I thought yes, I let go but still the film must be intact," he said.
