JAKARTA - Director Todd Philips teased fans with the latest look from the Joker film sequel entitled Joker: Folie Laughs Deux. Several still cuts were released to coincide with Valentine's Day which fell on February 14 yesterday.

"Hopefully your day will be filled with love," wrote Todd Philips in his latest photo caption.

The photos show the Joker, played by Joaquin Phoenix and Harley Quinn, played by Lady Gaga. The first photo shows Phoenix in Joker's makeup while Gaga appears with BLAnde hair cut off.

The second photo shows the closeness of Joker and Harley Quinn characters and is accompanied by dancing in the middle of the city building.

So far, both Philips and the production house have closed a plot meeting regarding Joker 2. They only revealed that this sequel will have a drama concept with a musical set set set of Arkham Asylum.

Zazie Beetz and Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland and Harry Lawtey also played roles in this film.

His first film was a success as well as controversy when it was released in 2019. This film became a film with R-rated which earned up to 1 billion US dollars for global handling.

The film also bagged 11 Oscar nominations, one of which was the Best Actor award that Joaquin Phoenix won. The Joker marks the new world of DC comics that will be released this year.

Meanwhile, Joker: Folie euro Deux will hit theaters on October 4, 2024.
