Cooperative During Examination, Yudha Arfandi Was Declared Not Having Mental Disorders

JAKARTA - The Apsifor Team (Indonesian Forensic Psychology Association) of the Metro Jaya Police through its general chairman, Nathanael E. J. Sumampouw revealed the mental health condition of the perpetrator of the murder of Dante, Yudha Arfandi alias YA.

Through a press conference at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday, February 12, Nathanael E. J. Sumampouw explained that after undergoing the examination, YA was proven to have no mental disorders.

Nathanael explained in detail, YA's mental status is in adequate condition and can understand every question asked by investigators regarding the chronology of Dante's death.

"The suspect has a relatively adequate mental status, comes with full awareness, can understand the questions given regarding the events that occurred, including the absence of severe indicators of mental disorders," said Nathanael Sumampouw at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday, February 12.

Seeing this, the apsifor said that YA could be held accountable for his actions against Tamara Tyasmara's son.

"So that with this indicator, in general, the suspect has the competence to account for his actions," he continued.

However, Nathanael is still conducting further investigations regarding the mental condition of YA. The examination includes investigative interviews, interview observations regarding the suspect's mental status including personality, intelligence, and mental health.

"Forensic psychological examinations are still ongoing and are still being explored. We need time to reach adequate conclusions," he concluded.
