JAKARTA - The Netflix streaming service announced a series of films, series, new scriptless events planned for release in 2024. The series was shared in the New on Netflix 2024 segment held worldwide.

Various genres will be recommendations, while a number of popular series will continue to new stories such as Squid Game and Sweet Home.

It's no new secret that South Korea is making achievements both locally and internationally. Some of the titles released in 2023 brought Korea to international awards.

The film My Name is Loh Kiwan stars Song Joong Ki who tells the story of Kiwan's journey, a North Korean defector who goes to Belgium. He meets Marie (Choi Sung Eun), a former shooter athlete who loses his spirits in life. Adapted from the novel, the film will be released on March 1, 2024.

This romance tells the story of Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won) and Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun), a chaebol couple who are hit by problems in their third year of marriage. The drama is scheduled to air in March.

This webtoon adaptation series tells the story of Choi Sun Man (Ryu Seung Ryong), a shocked machine company owner. One day, one of the machines converts his son, Min Ah, into a chicken nugget. Then there is Ko Baek Joong (Ahn Jae Hong) who likes Min Ah secretly. Directed by Lee Byeong Heon, the series is planned to air in the first half of this year.

Adapted from a webtoon titled Money Game, The 8 Show is one of the most anticipated titles. The story centers on eight people trapped in an eight-story building with various games with prizes of money. Starring Ryu Jun Yeol, Chun Woo Hee, Park Jeong Min, Lee Yul Eum, Park Hae Joon, Lee Zoo Young, Moon Jeong Hee, and Bae Seong Woo. The series is directed by Han Jae Rim, the director of popular South Korean films in the serial directorship debut.

Success with the Japanese live action, Parasyte: The Gray comes in a Korean serial format that tells the story of a parasite taking over the human brain to control their bodies. Starring Jeon So Nee, Koo Kyo Hwan, Seol Kang Woo, Lee Jung Hyun, Kwon Hae Hyo, Kim In Kwon starred in this series.

This scriptless series will follow a multibillionaire story in a luxurious life. Starting from Singapore, Italy, Pakistan, Arabia, these multibillionaires live in luxury and choose Korea as their home.

Sweet Home's new world will start through its third season. Lee Eun Hyeok's character, played by Lee Do Hyun, will return with Cha Way Soo (Song Kang) who finds the monster in him and Pyeon Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook) who knows his body was taken over by another monster. Their journey can be seen in the second half of 2024.

This spin-off from Hospital Playlist tells of an obstetric and gynecologist resident who struggles with their days at Jongno branch's Yulje Medical Center. His latest look shows Go Yoon Jung in his reverse outfit.

The Hierachy series tells the story of law and order in a school that is regulated based on value. The spirits of Jeong Eui, Lee Chae Min, Kim Jae Won, Chi Hae Won, and Lee Won Jeong will tell the drama of the school from director Bae airing Jin.

The second part of Gyeongseong Create tells Seoul in 2024 about Ho Jae (Park Seo Joon) and his relationship with Chae Ok (Han So Hee).

This political drama tells the story of Park Dong Ho (Seol Kyung Gu), a Prime Minister who makes political decisions and takes the President to court. Jung Su Jin (Kim Hee Ae) is the Deputy Prime Minister who dares to oppose his leader.

This film tells the story of Lee Jung Do (Kim Woo Bin) who has 9th level skills so that he works as a martial arts officer. He meets Kim Sun Min (Kim Sung Kyun), an experimental officer who tries to identify Lee Jung Do's abilities.

The Frog series tells the story of a man's life that changes after a woman appears in her fire and forces her to survive. The series stars a number of seasoned actors such as Kim Yun Seok, Yoon Kye Sang, Go Mi Si, Lee Jung Eun and is directed by Mo Wan Il who worked on The World of The Married.

Woo Do Hwan is back in production of the Netflix series titled Mr. Right as Hae Jo, a man who was born out of marriage and entered into an uncertain family life. Jae Mi (Lee Yoo Mi) is Hae Jo's ex-girlfriend who is getting married soon.

This fictional genre film highlights the story of a big flood that hit the planet and became the last day on Earth. Kim Da Mi and Park Hae Soo will compete acting in a film directed by Kim Byung Woo who will present extreme stories about this natural phenomenon.

Set in the Joseon era, Cheon Yeong (Kang Dong Won), a slave with his skills trying to get out of slavery, Jong Ryeo (Park Jeong Min), the son of the military family who took Cheon Yeong and asked him to join the royal army. Uprising film was directed by Grand Prix winner at Cannes, Park Chan Wook.

Kim Sung Cheol replaces Yoo Ah In as Jung Jin Su, chairman of the New Truth sect that faces a world full of chaos. The curse of hell against those who sin continues to emerge, making sects begin to lose their power of power.
