Wanting To Break Through Hollywood, Gilang Dirga Teachers Joe Taslim And Iko Uwais

JAKARTA - Artist Gilang Dirga dreams of expanding his artistic wings to the realm of Hollywood. The reason, according to him, is that the peak popularity of celebrities is there.

"In the past, I dreamed of becoming a public figure in Indonesia, Alhamdulillah, I was achieved, and now I have a dream to go to Hollywood. Because I think the entertainment industry peaks there," said Gilang Dirga in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday, February 5.

Seeing this, Gilang said that he was aggressively looking for agents in Hollywood while repeatedly sending casting videos hoping that someone would be interested in his abilities.

"I really want to have a career in Hollywood, so that's why I did it while I was trying to find an agent there, I still sent a video of me casting, I still did it," said Gilang Dirga.

It didn't stop there, this 34-year-old man asked other artists who already had experience in the Hollywood world such as Joe Taslim to Iko Uwais.

"Well, that's a mystery, we also never knew that Iko Uwais was suddenly there, Joe Taslim was there, suddenly Christine Hakim's mother again had a Hollywood film she was shooting, yesterday too Maxime Bouttier also arrived playing a Hollywood film, it's all a mystery," explained Gilang Dirga.

Unfortunately, when he was told, Gilang realized that to be able to work in the international world he had to be able to compete with people from other countries. This ultimately made Adiezty Fersa's husband prefer to surrender to fate.

"I ask, they have also told me, the pattern is like this, but still because it is not only from Indonesia, but the whole world, it is the world's rival," he continued.

"It's difficult, but if I'm not in my business, I'm also wrong, with me trying, I'm quite happy. So if I say it's up to Allah, the important thing is that I've tried that way," he concluded.
