Song Joong Ki Becomes A Defender In The First Teaser For My Name Is Loh Kiwan

JAKARTA - Netflix released the first teaser for the film My Name is Loh Kiwan, starring Song Joong Ki. This film is an adaptation of Jo Hae Jin's novel.

This short teaser features Song Joong Ki as a defector from North Korea, Loh Kiwan. He arrived in Belgium and was in immigration to prove himself a refugee.

"For now, we cannot confirm you are from North Korea," the immigration authorities told Loh Kiwan.

In an instant, Loh Kiwan saw his life in North Korea and began looking for his struggle to stay in Belgium.

"I've struggled so far to promise myself that I can face any hell on this land. My name is Loh Kiwan," said Loh Kiwan narrated at the end of his teaser.

My Name is Loh Kiwan tells the story of a North Korean defector (Song Joong Ki) who arrives in Belgium and a woman who has no passion for life.

Marie's character plays Choi Sung Eun, a Korean professional shooter who has Belgian citizenship.

This film was written and directed by Kim Hee Jin which was produced in 2023. The film will be released on March 1 on Netflix.
