Melaney Ricardo Threatens To Report Perpetrators Who Use Their Faces For AI Bodong AI Ads

JAKARTA - Artist Melaney Ricardo recently became a victim of the sophistication of Artificial Intelligence aka AI technology where one of his videos was used to promote one of the advertisements he had never done before.

This presenter said that he first found out from fellow artists, such as Andre Taulany, who asked him the truth.

"A lot of good fellow artists like Bang Andre Taulany, Mrs. Titi sent it to me, Mr. Andre asked'mel, is this true, are you? My brother wants to get married asking 'is that true?'," said Melaney Ricardo in Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Thursday, January 25.

Although it was crowded on social media, this 42-year-old woman did not want to find out the figure behind the video. He only asked through uploads on his TikTok to delete the video.

"I'm not looking into it but I've said 'please take down my video because I don't know you, I've never been asked to test it and use your product'," said Melaney Ricardo.

Seeing this, Melaney admitted that he did not hesitate to take legal steps if it happened again and started to be detrimental. Because according to him this incident has spread false news and committed violations by taking videos without permission.

"If it continues and is detrimental, it may take legal steps. Because this is one for trading, two hoaxes and the third is to take without permission, photos or videos from sources without asking for permission, without any talk first," he concluded.
