Having A High Body, Nicole Kidman Was Never Called Unable To Have A Career In Hollywood

JAKARTA - Nicole Kidman is one of the most reckoned with Hollywood actors of her career. However, recently he revealed that someone had mentioned that he would not have had a long career in Hollywood.

Long before Hollywood, Kidman started his acting career in Australia and his height has often been a challenge.

I was told, 'You won't have a career. You're too high' Nicole Kidman said in the Radio Times.

Kidman recalled that when he auditioned for the film Annie, the actors who auditioned took measurements of the height at the door. People who felt too high instantly were rejected, so Kidman struggled to find a way to enter the audition room.

"I have to talk through the door because they measure you before you enter," he said, claiming to lie about height.

I was often ridiculed. I was called STORY. It would bother me when I acted and I wanted to be small, but there was a time when I appreciated it when it was related to what I did and I felt 'Ok I could use this' explained Kidman.

On the other hand, the bullying he gets because of his height makes him learn, including when he has a daughter.

I am very grateful to be healthy and able to walk. Despite talking about it, I have a knee problem and other things - partly because of my height," he said.

What I told my children is not important. What's more important is how you allow other people to answer 'yes' or no' to you and even if you accept that, self-resilience is being human, it's really power, "said Nicole Kidman.
