Noah Schnapp Claims To Be A Victim Of Israel And Hamas Misinformation, Wants Palestine To Be Peaceful

JAKARTA - Noah Schnapp has finally opened his voice about his opinions regarding the war between Israel and Hamas. He felt that his opinions and beliefs were misinterpreted by the public.

In a TikTok video, Schnapp sits in front of the camera and explains his opinion about the conflict that is happening.

"I feel my opinions and beliefs are misinterpreted from anything, even those close to what I believe and I want to state from my heart what I feel. I just want peace and security for all innocent people who have an impact on this conflict," said Noah Schnapp.

I opened a lot of discussions with friends from Palestine and I think it's an important conversation to have and I learned a lot. One of the things I agree with is that we all hope for the same thing, that those who are still stuck in Gaza can return to their families and the same hope that no lives will float in Palestine," he said.

On October 7th when the Hamas and Israel incident occurred, the Stranger Things star wrote a statement on Instagram asking her account followers to write comments as a form of attack.

"As an American Jew, I am afraid. Afraid of my brother in Israel, who was attacked continuously by Hamas. It hurts to see the brutal killing of innocent children, soldiers and women who take care of themselves," Noah Schnapp wrote.

Like the others, I want peace for Palestine and Israel. Let's stop choosing certain parties. It's better for us to realize that we are in the same position against terrorists. Choose humanity more than violence," he said.

Backlash against the actor grew after he liked videos teasing Palestinian victims. Even some audiences found him sharing a Zionist sticker'sexy to his friends.

As a result, this has an impact on the audience planning a boycott of Stranger Things 5 which will soon be produced.

I think whoever has a sense of humanity will expect an end to hostilities on both sides. I oppose killing anything innocent and I hope all of you do the same," Noah Schnapp further said.
