JAKARTA - Aghniny Haque, the main character of the horror film Pemandi Jenazah, shed tears while he was undergoing the photo process of the film poster. This happened because he again remembered the terrible incident experienced by the Lela character which he played in the film directed by Hadrah Daeng Ratu.

"I was silent and tried to remember the figure of Lela again. I felt the burden experienced by Lela again. What a terrible incident must be faced by Lela. Without realizing it, I cried again," said Aghniny Haque in a media statement received by Jumar, January 12.

In the film Pengandir Jenazah, Aghniny Haque plays Lela, the son of Mrs. Siti (Djenar Maesa Ayu) who works as a Driver of the Body in her village.

Lela's life changed when Mrs. Siti suddenly died. Mrs. Siti's death forced Lela to be ready to wash her own mother's body, bury her own feelings of sadness and carry out the funeral procession for the first time in her life, her own mother's body. In this bath process, Lela found irregularities in her mother's body, Lela, who had an argument that her mother's death was unusual.

Meanwhile, there were several deaths in a short time in the village where Lela lived, one by one Lela found irregularities in each body she was bathing. Lela was then determined to unravel the mystery that occurred.
