JAKARTA - The variety event from South Korea, Single's Inferno received an extraordinary response thanks to its latest season. The third season which ended on Tuesday, January 9, has become a public conversation to date.

The two producers of this event, Kim Jae Won and Kim Jung Hyun, did not deny that the continuation of this event is still in the discussion stage. However, they have new plans regarding the theme for the future.

"There are a lot of dating reality shows out there right now, but I think Single's Inferno marks the genre and can continue until the next season," Kim Jung Hyun told JoongAng Daily.

"But if we make the next season maybe we will try out new themes and nuances," he said again.

So far there has been no green light from Netflix as a streaming service to continue the event.

"Maybe what happens can be determined when it's agreed. At that moment, we are very grateful for all the love received in the third season," he said.

They understand that the concept of variety can be repeative and it is highly avoided by both of them. So they want to try to change the background of the story.

"Cooking dinner together for the first meeting and the first episode became a kind of rule in dating events," said Kim Jae Won.

Single's Inferno is a variety show featuring various male and female contestants on one island. They will look for their partner through a series of quizzes and dating sessions.

The first season airs in December 2021 and is consistently a hit with the following seasons.
