JAKARTA - Floods have locked Jakarta back in the morning since Saturday, February 20. A number of houses were submerged, one of which belongs to designer Dian Pelangi.
Dian Pelangi's house, which is located in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, is submerged in deep water. Dian shared the condition of her house through Instagram Story which is re-uploaded by Lambe Turah's gossip account.
"Waiting for the rubber boat to not come and finally daring to go to the main road itself," wrote Dian, in a video that shows the flood as high as her husband's hip.
In the video, Dian is seen evacuating herself with her husband, Sandy Nasution, who is carrying their baby. Dian sounded scared and kept praying.

"The car was already on the highway and immediately fled to my brother's house," the video continued. It is known that Dian and her family fled to her husband's house in Bintaro.

Dian then uploaded the photo again with a thank you.

The Kemang area was inundated by floods due to high-intensity rains that flushed since Friday, February 19 night, as well as several days before.
Saturday morning, Kemang Raya Street was flooded to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters. Many cars that their owners did not have time to evacuate ended up trapped in the floodwaters.
