Kareena Kapoor And Saif Ali Khan Welcome Their Second Child, Taimur Officially Becomes Big Brother

JAKARTA - Bollywood celebrity couple, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their beloved baby. The little one was present on Sunday, February 21, morning, a few hours after Kareena was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.

The newborn baby is the second child of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan. The couple is already raising four-year-old Taimur, who now has to play the role of an older brother.

Saif Ali Khan announced the birth of his new son in a statement to the press.

“We have been blessed with a baby boy. Mothers and babies are safe and sound," the proud father said as quoted from desiblitz.com, Monday, February 22.

"Thanks to our investigators for their love and support."

Randhir Kapoor, Kareena's father, also shared the news about the baby's presence. He can't hide happiness.

"She (Kareena) gave birth to a baby boy in the morning around 9 a.m. I will visit them soon," said Randhir.

Positive messages also flowed for Kareena and Saif Ali. One of them came from Kareena's younger sister, Karisma.

Karisma couldn't hold back her joy to be an aunt anymore. She took to Instagram and shared childhood photos featuring Kareena and their father Randhir.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan announced the news in August last year that they would add a family member. Similar to her first pregnancy, Kareena doesn't stop working and shoots many projects.

Talking about Kareena and the baby, Randhir told the Times of India, "Both Kareena and the baby are doing well. I haven't seen my grandson, but I have spoken to Kareena and she told me she is fine, and the baby is also healthy."

"I am so happy, in fact, going through the months to become a grandfather again. I really want to see the little one. I pray for his well-being."
