His Name Was Dragged, Baim Wong Reminded The Public About Giveaway Fraud

JAKARTA - The year 2024 has just begun, but Baim Wong's name is still being dragged into a number of giveaway scams with prizes of millions of rupiah. This was highlighted by Baim when he discussed the new year where he reminded the public.

"Happy New Year. Routines every year, always advise not to be fooled. If you still want to cheat, don't use my account," Baim Wong wrote via his Instagram post.

In his upload, Baim Wong uploaded a number of videos in which a potential victim was on a phone with an unknown man. This man uses Baim Wong's name and a photo of Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven as his profile photo.

The potential victim deliberately recorded and held the man's conversation, although he knew that the man on the phone was not Baim Wong.

"Those who have been tricked, go to the tiger office and bring the evidence. They can help until they report to the police," wrote Baim Wong.

This isn't the first time Baim Wong has reminded the public about fraud related to his name. A few days earlier, he discovered fraud from the sale of the iPad he was selling.

"There's been fraud. It's okay. People are crazy. Why? It's too bad for them to be deceived," Baim Wong said when he saw the iPad sales scam in his name.

Baim Wong could only help those who reported the fraud to the police. Not infrequently, he also participated in compensation to the victim for regretting the victim who experienced fraud came to him.
