BLACKPINK Continues Solo Activities Even Without YG Entertainment

JAKARTA - Through a release message shared, the YG Entertainment agency announced that all members of the BLACKPINK girl group will not continue their solo activities under the name YG Entertainment.

Reporting from AllKpop, this decision has become a joint decision between the agency and also the four BLACKPINK members, namely Lisa, Jennie, Rose and Jisoo.

"Some time ago, YG Entertainment renewed BLACKPINK's contract for the promotion of the team as a group. We have now reached an agreement not to sign a contract for individual member promotions," said YG Entertainment.

Even so, YG Entertainment emphasized that the activities of BLACKPINK groups remained under their auspices.

"YG Entertainment promises to support BLACKPINK group activities with all available resources, as well as enliven individual members' activities with a warm heart. Thank you." he continued.

Previously, it was recently reported that Jennie had just founded her own agency called Oddatelier or abbreviated as OA.

Meanwhile, Lisa herself circulated that she was discussing continuing her contract with other agencies. Furthermore, Jisoo is reportedly focusing on her acting career.
