Not Only Fireworks, HI Roundabout Will Be Insulted With 500 Drone Shows On New Year's Eve 2024

JAKARTA - Fireworks are one of the icons awaited on New Year's Eve. However, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) in collaboration with City Vision will hold a different 2024 New Year's Eve celebration by holding a 500-drone show entitled Kirana Jakarta at the HI Roundabout.

"We believe Kirana Jakarta will enrich the experience of celebrating New Year's Eve for Jakarta residents and become a beautiful trace in building a dynamic and creative city image," Head of the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) Andhika Permata quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, December 28.

Kirana Jakarta presents the 2024 New Year's Eve celebration with a combination of the dynamic, technological, and artistic landscape, creating an unforgettable beginning of the year.

Held on New Year's Eve December 31, 2023, the show will feature a drone light show with a world-class touch that features as many as 500 drones, a water mist effect with four water-made screens, and a three-dimensional video mapping that will be broadcast on The Plaza building.

Not only that, online live broadcasts will be accompanied by various icons and patterns typical of Indonesia and Jakarta which are broadcast through the OOH (Out of Home Advertising) media screen located on the LED HI Digital Network Roundabout.

This concept is aimed at appointing Jakarta as a global city through magnificent visual arts that are not inferior to the big cities of the world such as Singapore to New York.

"Welcoming the new year 2024, Jakarta for the first time to host spectacular New Year celebrations with various forms of world-class entertainment, we want to present this extraordinary moment as a free offering to the whole community," said Co-Founder and Co-CEO City Vision Juliana Kumala.

Not only that, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will also launch its newest icons, namely Je (Ondel-Ondel), Ka (Macan Kemayoran), and Te (Api Tugu Monas). This Jakarta icon is the result of youth competitions throughout Indonesia, which is expected to add to the spectacular New Year's Eve experience that competes with global scale celebrations.
