LSF Releases Whatsapp Business Account To Facilitate Public Access To Indonesian Film Information

JAKARTA - The Film Censorship Institute (LSF) officially launched their Whatssapp Business account at the Whatsapp Business Account Launch Press Conference for the Indonesian Film Censorship Institute on Monday, December 11.

In this press conference, LSF chairman Rommy Fibri Hardiyanto said it was known that LSF itself already had other social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook to Twitter or X which were loved by millennials to Gen Z.

"There are many things, including activities that we have conveyed, including reporting openly on therisf.co.id, IG, or LSF social media, LSF playing all social media, there are IG, Facebook, Twitter or X, then also TikTok," said Rommy Fibri Hardiyanto in the Senayan area, South Jakarta, Monday, December 11.

"This is because we are well aware that the people are now millennials, Gen Z and all kinds of things are indeed playing on social media," he continued.

Furthermore, Rommy explained the reasons behind making this LSF's business whatssapp account. He said that LSF wants to provide services that are easily accessible to the public regarding the information and activities of the LSF itself.

"LSF wants to provide services or serve 100 percent of the public who want to know about all information and LSF activities easily. Therefore, we make a business account," he said.

"If anyone wants to know about not only the LSF as a state institution but wants to know about the information bureau and so on, now it can be this Whatssapp Business Account," he continued.

There have been many state institutions to private companies who have done this and are also drivers of the LSF to follow in their footsteps in public services.

"This is as many friends know, both institutions and private companies have done the same thing, now we want and today launching this business account to make it easier for people to find information about activities or related to cinema," he concluded.

This Whatsapp Business Account belonging to the LSF provides options for features that can be accessed by the public whenever needed. Some of the information features presented through this grip include information related to the institution's profile, information related to data from the LSF censorship, information about public complaint services to PPID access.
