Laura Basuki Threatened By Domestic Violence In The First Trailer Of The Film In Life And Death

JAKARTA - Director Upi is back with his thriller film titled Sehavi Semati. Under the production of Starvision Plus, this trailer was released after airing exclusively through the premiere of the film Malam Para Hell.

The film Selife Semati tells the story of Renata (Laura Basuki) who lives with the principle that the wife's job is to serve to maintain the integrity of the household. Renata who married Edwin (Ario Bayu) received unpleasant treatment from her husband.

Problems started when Edwin had an affair. Renata herself felt the terror of the presence of other women and tried to save her household.

This two-minute trailer started with a complicated start when Renata lived with an abusive Edwin. Renata, who felt tired from meeting Asmara, played by Asmara Abigail. The mysterious figure of Asmara introduced Renata to the new world.

Asmara also helped Renata solve various clues, especially when Renata suspected that there was another figure in her house.

The trailer ended with Renata soaking her face into a bathtub, until her hands grabbed her face.

Selamat Semati also stars Chantiq Schagerl, Maya Hasan, Lukman Sardi, Whani Darmawan, Aqeela Dhiya, Ivanka Suwandi, Elly D Lutan, Verdi Solaiman, Pattytion Sandya, and others.

Upi as the director revealed that this script has been available since 13 years ago. However, this film was only realized when it was met with producer Chand Parwez Servia.

The story that was born 13 years ago finally became a film too. Through a fun and fun process. Thank you Mr. Parwez and Starvision for realizing this script into a film," said Upi.
