Negative For Drugs, G-Dragon Departure Ban Revoked By Police

JAKARTA - The G-Dragon travel ban was lifted by the Incheon police after he tested negative for drugs. The police released the revocation after the BIGBANG member conducted an investigation last week.

Even so, the police said there was a possibility that G-Dragon would be re-examined in this case.

"If the situation clearly leads to drug use, then it is not appropriate not to file a lawsuit just because the test results are negative," the police quoted the Korea Herald as saying today, Monday, November 27.

'Legal cases in the past (regarding drug use) show that a guilty decision has been made even though the test results are negative.' he said.

South Korean regulations reveal that the authorities allow a month-long travel ban to an individual who is undergoing an investigation period. Requests for an extension can also be continued as requested by the police.

The name G-Dragon was named by one of the witnesses when investigating a drug case experienced by actor Lee Sun Kyun. From the start, G-Dragon denied all reports calling himself taking illegal drugs.

Therefore, G-Dragon attended the first examination on November 6 to the police by submitting the results of urine, hair and nail tests.

G-Dragon's attorney then took legal action because the artist's involvement came from baseless rumors on the internet. The legend's rapper said he would not stand still seeing his name continue to be linked to this news.

Different from G-Dragon, Lee Sun Kyun's travel ban was extended by the police even though the results of the hair sample test were negative.
