G-Dragon BIGBANG Examined For Alleged Drug Consumption

JAKARTA - G-Dragon from BIGBANG is reportedly undergoing police investigations related to drug abuse. This news was broadcast by News1 which said the leader was detained by the Incheon Metropolitan Police.

"Because this is a case that is being investigated, we cannot explain in detail," the police said.

They denied G-Dragon's examination was related to actor Lee Sun Kyun who was arrested this week.

"This is a different case that has no relationship with Lee (Sun Kyun)", said the police again.

The YG Entertainment agency that was asked by the public could only answer that G-Dragon was not their artist. This indicates that he did not renew his contract and became BIGBANG's last member to leave YG Entertainment.

"We are not aware of the case of using GD drugs. We will see the report," said YG Entertainment.

"(G-Dragon) is not an artist under our agency, so it's difficult for us to make an official statement," YG Entertainment said.

Actor Lee Sun Kyun was questioned by the police regarding the alleged drug case that dragged his name. This began on October 19, Shinmun Gyeonggi revealed that the Incheon metropolitan police were investigating actors L and 7 other people.

Lee Sun Kyun's agency confirmed the report but explained that the actor wanted to report to the police, not to be one of the 8 arrested users.

Lee Sun Kyun was questioned with Han Seo Hee, a former idol trainee and Hwang Ha Na, a member of the chaebol family. The agency stated that the actor did not know the two people mentioned.

The latest news states that Lee Sun Kyung uses drugs in an entertainment outlet with several figures, including former idols, singers, and others.
