Starring Haico Van Derwarken, Pangeran Lantang, Bhisma Mulia, and Mathias Muchus, the film Miss Manis Sayare is scheduled to be screened in all Indonesian cinemas on November 2, 2023. This comedy drama genre film, directed by Hestu Saputra. The film Miss Manis Sayange tells the story of love between Sika, a Bajo girl, and Akram, a young man from outside Labuan Bajo. Sika and Akram fall in love with each other, but their relationship is hindered by Labuan Bajo customs which require prospective male brides to give a belis, or dowry, to the family of the prospective bride and groom.
