Christine Hakim's Big Role In Denny Sumargo's Life

JAKARTA - Denny Sumargo again invited a special guest on his podcast which was uploaded to his YouTube account, @curhatbang. On this occasion, Denny invited actress Christine Hakim to talk to him.

Previously, Densu, Denny Sumargo's nickname, had competed acting with Christine Hakim in the film Kartini in 2017. Recalling that time, Densu said that Christine Hakim had a large service in her career in acting.

At that time Christine Hakim once issued advice that made Densu finally reflect and could explore her role in the film.

"Oh, I remember mother's words again in Kartini's film. You just talked to one of them, 'Sadness doesn't always have to cry.' Then I thought, it really helped my acting because I put those words into words. Oh yes, so far we thought that sad, we had to cry," said Denny Sumargo, quoted by VOI.id via the YouTube account @curhatbang, Friday, September 22.

"But there is sadness that doesn't cry. So where is the strength of an acting? Is it in the gesture, in his tears, in his expression or in his taste," he continued.

Hearing this, Christine Hakim had said that Densu was lying if her advice could be so influential. But finally he explained that it had become the will of the above.

"I don't know why I'm increasing now? Because of my mother's role," said Densu. "Ah, you can just mess with me," said Christine. "Well, seriously. Mother's sentence is simple, not addressed to me but impactful. That's how big it is (play) your life, ma'am," said Densu. "MashaAllah, God's will," said Christine.
