Virgoun Divorce Trial Continues, Inara Rusli Presents 2 Expert Witnesses

JAKARTA - The divorce trial for singer Virgoun and his wife, Inara Rusli, is still continuing at the West Jakarta Religious Court. This trial was held again on Wednesday, September 20, which was scheduled for 10.00 WIB.

Unfortunately, on today's trial agenda, only expert witnesses from Virgoun's side were seen fulfilling the summons. This was conveyed by Virgoun's team of attorneys, Adrianus Agal.

"Today's trial is an expert statement that we have presented expert statements from the two experts that we presented at this trial," said Adrianus Agal at the West Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, September 20.

The two expert witnesses presented from Virgoun are Islamic legal experts from the State Islamic University and Muhammadiyah University Jakarta. The expert witness provided information regarding the rules for child support and custody.

"The first was witness Doctor Irfan explaining about the behavior that was prohibited by a wife. Then regarding the second expert from UMJ explained about the living of hadiah and idah. Where it was explained earlier about the right to care for children both from the wife and from the husband's side," he continued.

Due to the absence of an expert witness from Inara, the judge decided that this trial would be postponed for 3 weeks and would resume on October 11.

"For the next agenda, because the plaintiff did not attend, the expert's statement should also be from the plaintiff. So the judge decided that the trial was postponed for 3 weeks, (continued) on October 11," said Virgoun's attorney, Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno alias Kris.
