JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, asked the public to be disciplined in implementing 3M: washing hands, wearing masks, and maintaining distance. It is hoped that 3M can reduce COVID-19 cases in Indonesia.

According to 3M's message from the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, always guard yourself from exposure to the COVID-19 virus. "I invite all to use all to comply with 3M's health protocol. Make sure we are always at home and maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle," said Riza.

Various policies have been implemented by the government to reduce the movement of people in order to maintain their distance. Currently, DKI is implementing restrictions on community activities (PPKM).

Riza emphasized that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will not implement a lockdown or lockdown at the weekend.

Currently, DKI is implementing PPKM phase two which has been extended from January 26 to February 8.

"We say that DKI Jakarta is still implementing the PSBB until the 8th or PPKM volume II, in which the PPKM program volume II does not have a lockdown program on weekends," said Riza at PMI DKI, Friday, February 5.

Regarding the policy after the PPKM period ended on December 8, the Governor of DKI Jakarta held discussions with the DKI Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) and experts.

"Later we will decide what policy to take in the second volume of PPKM or the next PSBB on the 8th of the next fourteen days," he said.

The government's maximum efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus certainly need community support. Maximizing 3M implementation is an effective way to support government policy.
