JAKARTA - The ATTRAKT music agency will take legal action when their artist, FIFTY FIFTY is at the peak of popularity. What's wrong?

Last week, ATTRAKT released a statement stating that a third party was trying to get close to FIFTY FIFTY members to terminate an exclusive contract with them. This was done when the group was being loved because of one of their hites, the world.

"Through accusations of slander against us and our blown about themselves, this external force commits illegal acts by persuading our agency artists to make wrong decisions by ignoring their legitimate exclusive contracts and signing contracts with them," ATTRAKT told Heraldcorp.

Today, Monday, June 26, ATTRAKT revealed that the third party was Warner Music Korea who tried to get the four members to terminate their contracts. They know the label is in discussions to buy FIFTY FIFTY from their agency.

The same day the agency released a new statement that they were preparing evidence and asked Warner to explain their position.

"We have received clear evidence of material efforts to hunt down FIFTY FIFTY members illegally," said ATTRAKT.

"We ask Warner Music Korea to make the right explanations and statements about their official position," they said again.

FIFTY FIFTY is a K-pop group from ATTRAKT that debuted in 2022. After releasing several singles, their names became known through fire which went viral on social media. The climax was when their songs topped the international music charts including Billboard.

They also collaborated with American label Warner Records and were announced as one of the artists filling in the soundtrack for the Barbie film to air.
