Series Turn On 2 Comes With More Complex Stories And Various Characters

JAKARTA - After the success of his first season in 2021, Turn On is back with his second season. Directed by Anika Marani, this series stars Giorgino Abraham, Clara Bernadeth, Erika Carlina, Jonathan Andriano, Sonia Alyssa, Faradina Mufti, Mathias Muchus and Asri Welas.

Still focusing on the character Andreas played by Giorgino Abraham, Anika said Turn On 2 has a more complex storyline than the first season. The existence of new characters is also a differentiator from the first season.

"In the second season it is more complex, the audience will be made to think about what Andreas will do. In addition, there will be a new character," said Anika Marani during a press conference in Senayan City, South Jakarta on Tuesday, June 20.

Erika Carlina, who plays Flora, agrees with what the director said. He said the second season would feature many characters with quite prominent differences.

"Turn On 2 why it looks stand out, because here the characters are different. Everyone has their respective characters that are different, so everything stands out," he said.

Erika also said that there would be many surprises in each episode. He hopes that the stories presented can also make the audience feel what he feels when reading the scenario.

"There are many things that will surprise you later. I just read the script for shaking, sometimes I like to cry myself out of emotion, or I'm not curious myself. So, later the audience can join, I hope they get it," said Erika.

Meanwhile, Giorgino Abraham said that what he experienced in the characters he played might also be felt by many people. He saw that there was a good message presented through the Turn On 2 series.

“Menurut aku, series ini cukup relate sama kehidupan anak-anak zaman sekarang. Dimana hubungan yang sudah tidak bisa dikomunikasikan, apalagi dengan pasangan suami istri yang baru, sering kali mereka jadi terbentur untuk saling menjaga satu sama lain. Mungkin ada gengsi yang terlalu besar yang membuat hubungannya jadi kurang,” tutur Giorgino Abraham.

"Meanwhile, the most important thing in relationships is actually communication. Here we learn, here we can know that that is the importance of communication. Whatever we feel, we have to convey it to our partners," he concluded.

Series Turn On 2 will soon air on Vidio starting Friday, June 23. Of the 8 episodes that will be present, each new episode will air every Friday.
