JAKARTA - One of the debut singles for the new female K-Pop group NewJeans entitled Hype Boy has managed to collect 200 million streams on the Spotify platform.

"The song has reached 210,116,556 streams on the world's largest music streaming platform as of Friday, 186 days after its release in August," said ADOR, the agency that oversees NewJeans, as reported by Antara, Monday.

The agency added that two other NewJeans debut singles, namely Attention, and Ditto, have each also collected 100 million streams on Spotify.

Apart from Spotify, the three songs also exploded on the monthly chart of Melon, South Korea's largest music streaming service.

According to the chart released on Wednesday (1/2), Ditto debuted in first place, followed by OMG and Hype Boy.

On the Billboard Hot 100, "OMG" was ranked 79th while Ditto was ranked 89th. This achievement made NewJeans the third K-Pop artist to have two songs on the chart at the same time.
