JAKARTA - Emu announced his resignation from the entertainment industry after driving drunk. On Monday, December 19, the actor and singer hit the guardrail in the Gangbyeon area at 11.25 evening Korean time.

Launching Xsportsnews, Eru's friend suffered minor injuries. When examined, Eru's alcohol content is at the highest level which can make her driver's license revoked.

Through her Instagram, Eru wrote an apology to the public. He also expressed his resignation from the entertainment industry to reflect on himself.

"Hello, this is Eru. First, I apologize for disappointing you by my wrong actions. There is no room for reasons related to the fact I was driving drunk. I apologize," wrote Eru today, Wednesday, December 21.

I also apologize to the production team who is preparing for the drama Secret Woman. I will stop all activities in the entertainment industry and take time to reflect," he continued.

Eru apologized and said he would use this time to reflect on actions that harm the community.

"I'm sorry and I will reflect on myself so an incident like this won't happen again," he said.

"Once again. I'm sorry," he concluded.

KBS2 which is preparing for Eru's latest drama, Secret Woman also announced that Eru was not involved as a player.

"We want to provide information that Eru, who is scheduled to appear in the drama, has withdrawn from production," said the KBS2.

"We will do our best to give the audience a good drama," they said again.
