Sri Asih Movie Releases 26 OST Songs, Combining Orchestra And Rock Music Elements

JAKARTA - Sri Asih, the latest film from Jagat Sinema Bumilangit, has released its Original Motion Picture Soundtrack or OST on various online music platforms on Thursday, November 3. The release of this OST was done two weeks before Sri Asih movie premiered in theaters.

Aghi Narottama is the main figure behind the composition of all the songs that make up Sri Asih's OST. He was assisted by two other musicians, Bemby Gusti and Tony Merle.

In this OST album, there are 26 titles, all of which are performed by Aghi, Bemby, and Tony. Some of the song titles that became Sri Asih's OST include Yatim, Sendiri di Dunia, Serbuan Maut, and Sri Asih Theme.

For Sri Asih's theme music, Aghi carries the concept of 'Symphonic Distortion'. Symphony itself is one type of classical music that is usually performed in an orchestra, while distortion is the main element in guitar playing in rock music.

By combining elements of orchestra with rock, the songs in the Sri Asih OST album are considered to be an encouragement for listeners.
