JAKARTA - Actress Dewi Sandra now rarely appears in films or soap operas. Apparently, Dewi is focusing on developing the brand DOA which has just launched the collection of the latest Muslim clothing called Lucia Series. This collection is inspired by the exterior architecture and Islamic history in Andalusia.

"Previously we played with the names of women who worked in the Islamic world, namely Khadijah, Maryam, Aisyah, and we thought about playing, let alone. When we wanted a design about architecture, Dewi time to play for Andalusia remembers that one of the marketplaces, Masya Allah and the richness of the Islamic architecture was very high there," Dewi said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 3.

"So it's a coincidence that the series matches this is Andalusia," he continued.

In the Lucia Series collection, Dewi Sandra said that she did not use too many colors because she wanted to raise simplicity but was also able to describe Islamic wealth. The basic color chosen also tends to be neutral such as black and white.

Dewi admits that the Lucia Series collection does not follow today's trends that are very colorful or which in contemporary terms is called 'cake colors'.

"Why use neutral colors because DOA is actually one of the unpredictable brands. I don't like following trends, if I can play a little out of the box," said Dewi.

"I think, especially for the end of the year, the dark color is funny for me personally. Again, not everyone must follow the trend. If you like cake, go ahead, but there is always a market that likes dark colors," he continued.

Lucia Series consists of dresses, tops, and scarf with the exterior motifs of the building in Andalusia. For the material, Dewi said the robe of the collection uses crepe material while the scarf is made from ultrafine vocals.

With the launch of the Lucia Series, Dewi also hopes that DOA will be able to spread the beauty and beauty of the history of Islam in Andalusia.

"Every DOA issues something, we must tell you this is Islam, it's beautiful, it's that beautiful, there's a lot of history. Sometimes we don't feel that Islam has a lot to learn and be proud of," concluded Dewi.
