JAKARTA - Actor Derby Romero has been confirmed to join the production of The Adventures of Sherina 2. Returning as Sadam, Derby is reunited with Sherina, his co-star 22 years ago.

Derby admits that they can't wait to play the role of Sadam. Reuniting with something that became an iconic film of its time Derby was eagerly awaited.

"I certainly can't wait. I've been waiting too. So let's just wait for the game date," said Derby Romero.

Even so, Derby Romero has not been able to tell the complete process. Because they just want to start production in the near future. However, he felt proud that until then Sherina's adventures were still enjoyed by the community.

"I'm just about to start preparing. So I can't really tell you much," said Derby Romero.

“It was 22 years ago and until now people still remember, I am very happy for sure. I feel proud that many people still remember the character I played," he said.

"Now it's also regenerated huh. The one who used to be small is now watching it with his son. Yes, if it wasn't for Sherina's Adventure, I wouldn't be where I am now. People, I'm still Sadam," said the husband of Claudia Adinda.

Derby Romero plays Sadam in the film directed by Riri Riza. Through his Instagram account Derby also confirmed that production of a sequel will be carried out in the near future.
