Emma Thompson To Star In The Sex Comedy Good Luck To You, Leo Grande

JAKARTA - British acting icon Emma Thompson will star in a sex comedy about the search for a middle-aged woman in an attempt to fulfill her erotic side.

Good Luck to You, Leo Grande is the follow-up to the up-and-coming director Sophie Hyde for her hit film Sundance released last year.

In this film, Emma plays Nancy, a 55 year old widow who wants to have good and correct sex for the first time in her life.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wednesday, October 28, the plot follows Nancy as she hires Leo, a sex therapist in her 20s, to help her find sexual nirvana.

"I was very challenged to be able to work with the very funny and very honest Emma Thompson to explore intimacy and desire, and to bring out a relationship that felt unexpected and fun," said Hyde.

"At a time when our need for each other is clear, it can be great to create and demonstrate a relationship between two people, who is cute, sexy, and moving."

Good Luck to You, Leo Grande is written by British comedian Katy Brand, and will start shooting in London early next year.
