Abandoned By Dikta, This Is The New Formation Of Yovie & Nuno

JAKARTA - Pradikta Wicaksono or familiarly called Dikta announced his retirement from the Yovie group through his Instagram account as of June 1, 2022. 6 days after Dikta left, a new formation was formed.

This new formation adds two vocalists, namely Adhyra Yudhi and Chico Andreas. The formation is already active and is currently preparing new songs produced by Ari Renaldi and Yovie Widianto. Yovie & Nuno's newest single with a new formation is rumored to be released in the near future.

“This is the new one from Yovie & Nuno, Adhyra and Chico. Hopefully, we can continue the journey of our predecessors, Mas Yovie, Gail, Rere, Yuke, Ersta, Dudy, Dikta, Windura, and all of the big family of Yovie & Nuno," quoted from his Instagram account by uploading a photo with a new formation.

Yovie & Nuno debuted in the Indonesian music industry in 2001 with the release of the album “All Stars”. The group was originally fronted by Yovie Widianto, Muchamad Ahadiyat or Diyat, Dudi Oris, Yuke Sampurna, and Rere Reza.

Quoted from ANTARA, in 2019, the founder and frontman of the band Yovie resigned but continued to play behind the scenes as producer. Yovie was replaced by Ady Julian who filled the keyboardist position along with other personnel with the formation of Diyat, Pradikta Wicaksono or Dikta, and Arya Windura.

After Windura announced that he would resign from his position as vocalist in 2021, it was Dikta's turn to leave the group as of June 1, 2022. Dikta has been with Yovie & Nuno for 15 years. Now Dikta, who also has a career as an actor, chooses to try a new challenge.

Through a video that Dikta uploaded on his Instagram account, he admitted that the decision to leave Yovie & Nuno was not an easy step because he considered the group as his own family.

Dikta also emphasized that the decision was taken jointly and well by all personnel. Still in the same upload, he expressed his gratitude to former members and active members of Yovie & Nuno, the management team, and fans who have supported him.

Dikta said he would continue to support Yovie & Nuno and vice versa. According to Dikta, maybe one day he will meet on the same stage at the same event as Yovie & Nuno.

"I will continue to work, I will continue to make music with my songs, and I am sure that Yovie & Nuno with their new vocalist with their new songs will be much more hits and booming than now," said Dikta.
