JAKARTA - Puteri Indonesia 2022 Laksmi Shari De Neefe Suardana said she was ready to advance to the Miss Universe 2022 world queen election and make the nation proud.

"I am ready to represent this beautiful country in diversity to the international arena," said Laksmi during the Meet & Greet Miss Universe 2021 roadshow at Farmers Market, Margo City Mall, Depok, West Java on Sunday night.

Laksmi expressed her gratitude for the support and love given to her, including the criticism of her.

"This is the first contest that I have entered into, so there are indeed many shortcomings. But I am very grateful for your support and constructive suggestions," she said, quoted by Antara.

Laksmi admits that her strength lies in her ability to be honest.

"From the first day of audition at Puteri Indonesia 2022, I have become myself. I am the best version of myself and when people know we are authentic, they will see the good in us."
