Playing The Movie Chasing Heaven, Al Ghazali Answers The News Of Siri's Marriage With A Lover

JAKARTA - Al Ghazali appears with his latest film titled Chasing Heaven. In this film directed by Drias, Al plays Iqbal, a man who wants to marry Atiqah, played by Jessica Mila.

"Iqbal's character is related to Jessica (Mila). We are taking it seriously and I am helping to find his missing father," explained Al Ghazali at a press conference on Monday, May 23.

Regarding his character, Al Ghazali told about the challenges he faced while playing in the film Chasing Heaven.

“The challenge was at the wedding ceremony scene because I had never been (married) so I took one breath. That's one of the lessons," explained Al Ghazali.

Not a few have questioned about the marriage book that had gone viral on the internet. Maia Estianty's daughter believes she is not married and the book is a necessity for her latest film.

"This marriage book is only in movies, so just watch it," replied Al Ghazali casually.

“There is also an artist whose name has to be as realistic as possible. The marriage book is there but only in movies," he explained.

Chasing Heaven tells of Atiqah (Jessica Mila) who is looking for her father to be her guardian in her marriage to Iqbal (Al Ghazali). Their journey has been full of ups and downs and the film can be seen in Indonesian cinemas starting Thursday, 26 May.
