Jamrud Releases New EA EO Song, Gives Enthusiasm To Face The COVID-19 Pandemic

JAKARTA - The band Jamrud is ready to enliven the Indonesian music industry again by presenting the video clip "EA EO". This song is included in the album "Perspective" which was previously sung by former child singer Joshua who collaborated with Jamrud. However, this song is different in terms of lyrics.

According to Jamrud's vocalist Krisyanto, the latest version of "EA EO" is more about motivation, always thinking positively when dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic that is currently happening in the world, especially Indonesia.

"This is a song whose lyrics were intentionally made with the theme of the COVID-19 pandemic to simply remind us of the virus, but we are still trying to be strong in dealing with it," Krisyanto said through his official statement, Friday.

In line with Krisyanto, according to Wahyu NS as VP Digital & Content Development at SRN Entertainment, the prolonged pandemic condition makes everyone tired, but they must endure, where the digital era makes everything fast and instant.

"Well, Jamrud is here when we are all experiencing this, it is proven that it is summarized in the song 'EA EO', with the hope of providing enthusiasm and entertainment to all Indonesian music listeners so that they continue to be enthusiastic and work," said Wahyu.

SRN entertainment also broadcast the music video "EA EO" on SRN entertainment's official YouTube on March 18, 2022, while performing the song "EA EO" through OOH digital advertisements in Times Square - New York, United States on the same date.

The concept outlined for "EA EO" is something different from the previous music videos. This time using animated illustrations combined with real objects, talent and Jamrud personnel.
