Nunung Positive COVID-19, This Is A Family Explanation

JAKARTA - The family confirmed that comedian Nunung was undergoing treatment due to being positive for COVID-19.

Nunik, who is also the younger brother of Nunung, said that he had just learned about the news directly from the person concerned.

"Yes, it is true (positive for COVID-19). I also just heard about this," said Nunik when confirmed by Antara, Tuesday, September 22.

"Earlier I called. Because yesterday, Ms. Nunung did call me when I had no symptoms, the last call she said was all sick," continued Nunik.

He said there were several other family members who were also positive for COVID-19 and were still undergoing treatment.

"There are two children, one grandson, one son-in-law, and his assistant Ms. Nunung," he said.

Nunik said that he spoke candidly regarding the condition of his brother and several other family members who were positive for COVID-19.

"This is not a disgrace, this does not have to be covered up. You have to know, you don't have to cover it up, I just say it as it is," he added.
