JAKARTA - Sony Interactive Entertainment officially launched Climate Station, a free educational interactive app on PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 designed for an exploratory climate experience, in the form of games.
Developed With United Nations Playing for the Planet Alliance, Climate Station allows users to explore the dynamics of global climate change through four modes: Weather Year, Observations, Projections, and Explainer Library.
"At PS5, you can explore the interactive globe completely, enlarge climate events and the data layer using DualSense controllers. At PS VR2, the experience becomes more immersive You can achieve and manipulate Earth directly with PS VR2 Sense controllers," Sony said in a statement on his official blog.
In Weather Year, users can witness the evolution of global weather in the form of stunning timing shows, ranging from storms, forest fires, to floods, all of which are associated with human impact data.
Meanwhile, Observations presents authoritative data from the IPCC to track temperature changes for more than a century. This interactive Globe will show temperature changes from 1901 to now, with a red 3D pin for heating, blue for cooling.
