JAKARTA - As a member of the House of Representatives, Mulan Jameela also highlighted the statement of the Minister of Religion, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas who compared the restrictions on the loudspeakers voice in mosques related to the adhan with the barking of dogs.

Yaqut intends to regulate the use of mosque loudspeakers. As a result, this rule has been controversial. Ahmad Dhani's wife feels that Yaqut considers the sound of the call to prayer to be a nuisance.

"Because, Adhan's voice, which is so beautiful and meaningful, has become a kind of culture in Indonesia, which is echoed from mosques and prayer rooms 5 times a day with a duration of 1 to 3 minutes.

Furthermore, the singer of the song "Wonder Woman" also said that the call to prayer is included in the category of local wisdom and cultural heritage. Therefore, it should be preserved. She also asked the Indonesian people to be tolerant of each other.

"In fact, the sound of the call to prayer reminding and calling Muslims to pray can be categorized as wisdom and cultural heritage in the life of tolerance between religious communities in Indonesia", she said.
