Change name

Known as Park Jihyo, Jihyo actually changed her name before starting a career. Her real name is Park Jisoo, but at the age of 18, she changed her name to Park Jihyo.

Trainee

It's no secret that Jihyo is a member of TWICE with the longest trainee period. She underwent training for 10 years since 2005. At that time she entered JYP Entertainment after winning a contest on Junior Naver.

Before debuting with TWICE, Jihyo also briefly became a model for Innisfree skincare with Nayeon, her groupmate.

Jihyo got the Leader position not based on Park Jin Young's choice as the CEO of JYP Entertainment. Jihyo got the position after voting among the members of the TWICE group.
