Gal Gadot Joins Film Remake To Catch A Thief, A Diamond Thief's Story

JAKARTA - Actress Gal Gadot has been appointed as the main character in the remake film To Catch a Thief produced by Paramount Pictures. Citing Deadline, in addition to Gadot, there is Eileen Jones who is the screenwriter for this remake version.

Known in the original version, To Catch a Thief directed by Alfred Hitchcock. To Catch a Thief tells the story of the French Riviera city where the rich are worried about the theft of diamonds.

John Robbie, The Cat (Cary Grant) is suspected by the police as the perpetrator even though he has stopped stealing diamonds for 15 years. Feeling accused, John Robbie tries to find the culprit.

It is not yet known whether this remake version will follow Hitchcock's story. But what is certain is that this romantic thriller will bring something fresh.

The shining Ellien Jones is the scriptwriter for series such as Lethal Weapon and Prodigal Son.

Meanwhile, To Catch a Thief is Gal Gadot's latest project after being confirmed for Disney's Cleopatra and Snow White.
