Dope Yacko And Mardial Collaboration To Make A Song To Fight Acne

JAKARTA - Acne is a problem in itself, especially for those who are women. There are many words from netizens that often lead to acne shamming and toxic comments when a woman is experiencing acne problems.

Especially defending acne fighters who are often ridiculed by people. Rapper Yacko and composer Mardial composed a song about the fight against acne called "Win The Fight" in collaboration with Himalayan beauty products Since 1930.

The release of this song is part of the #AlamiLawanJerawat campaign which aims to send a message of solidarity to people who are struggling with acne problems, or acne fighters.

"Apart from body shaming, one other thing I hate the most is acne shaming. So, I'm very excited to have the opportunity to work together," said Yacko in his official statement, Tuesday, August 25.

Not only giving catchy and intriguing lyrics. Mardial, who is the composer of this song, also gave a touch of dubstep hip hop music, grim and modern as a sign of resistance to acne on the face.

Because the problem of acne, is not a trivial matter. Based on a Himalayan survey of more than 1,000 women who experience acne problems in 10 major cities in Indonesia, 77 percent of them have experienced acne shaming.

Acne shaming is the act or practice of humiliating someone by insulting or making negative comments about their acne which can cause mental health problems.

Through the song "Win The Fight", Yacko hopes to encourage acne fighters or those who have experienced acne shaming not to lose to all the negative things.

"The message in this song is very simple, namely that we must not be defeated by negativity. We must stand tall and strong, we are not alone and we can win the fight against acne, we are going to win the fight," said Yacko.
