JAKARTA - President Director of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BSI) Anggoro Eko Cahyo said that his party channeled financing for the Housing Program Loan (KPP) worth Rp844 billion as of May 21, 2026.

He stated that the figure reached around 67 percent of the company's KPP distribution target of Rp. 1.2 trillion for the year. His party is also optimistic that it can meet this target by optimizing the national sharia ecosystem.

"Because we know that the Indonesian people are the largest Muslim community and the penetration of the sharia economy is still high, the opportunity for improvement is high," said Anggoro Eko Cahyo, quoted by Antara.

"So we will be easier to explore its potential, including also what we encourage is teachers in pesantren-pesantren to be able to enjoy this (KPP) program," said Anggoro.

In addition to KPP, BSI also supports the distribution of the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) with a target of 5,540 subsidized housing units. To date, 1,250 units have been realized.
