JAKARTA - The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) has succeeded in surpassing the national entrepreneurship ratio target in 2025 with a performance of 3.29 percent from the target set at 3.10 percent.
The Deputy for Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of MSME, Siti Azizah, explained that the national entrepreneurship ratio target for 2025 refers to the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025-2029 and the Strategic Plan (Renstra) of the Ministry of MSME.
"This achievement is in line with the third Asta Cita which aims to encourage national entrepreneurship, as well as being proof that MSMEs in Indonesia continue to rise in class," said Siti Azizah, Wednesday, December 17.
He conveyed that the success in exceeding the target was driven by various strategic programs, one of which was through the strengthening of the Integrated Entrepreneur Hub (E-Hub). This program is designed as an integrated and sustainable entrepreneurship development ecosystem.
"In addition to increasing the national entrepreneurship ratio, the Integrated E-Hub is expected to be a concrete solution in encouraging economic growth, creating jobs while reducing poverty and unemployment," he said.
Until November 2025, the total number of beneficiaries of the E-Hub Integrated program has reached 7,980 entrepreneurs spread across 10 provinces. Meanwhile, as many as 14,084 entrepreneurs have been successfully connected in the E-Hub ecosystem.
Entering 2026, he continued, the Ministry of MSME will focus on strengthening the E-Hub ecosystem which is integrated in the SAPA UMKM superapps. This integration is expected to be able to expand the reach of services, increase efficiency, and strengthen the competitiveness of national entrepreneurs.
According to Siti Azizah, digitization and the use of technology are key factors in increasing the competitiveness of Indonesian entrepreneurs in the midst of global economic dynamics.
"The digital and technological aspects are very crucial in this era. The ability to adapt is the main challenge for entrepreneurs to win the competition," he said.
Siti Azizah continued that the Functional Department of Entrepreneurship Development (JFPKWU) program was also included in the priority category of 2026, considering that its goal is to serve as a facilitator for incubation and mentoring entrepreneurship throughout Indonesia that is inclusive and sustainable.
