Nusron Wahid Soal 17 Masalah Mafia Tanah Belum Selesai: Strateginya Saja Tangkap

JAKARTA - As many as 90 land dispute cases have been resolved by the Land Mafia Eradication Task Force (Satgas) from the target of 107 problems this year. This means that the remaining 17 cases have not been resolved.

Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid revealed that one strategy that can be done is to arrest the perpetrators.

"The strategy (acceleration of completion of the land mafia), just arrest it. It's very complicated, just arrest it," said Nusron when met after attending the Coordination Meeting (Rakor) on Prevention and Settlement of Land Crimes in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 3.

In fact, Nusron hopes that the land service products of the Ministry of ATR/BPN can be proper (according) and are considered good in the field.

"If the product is proper, the Land Mafia Task Force cannot find new problems with achievement. If the Land Mafia Task Force finds many problems, that means the products are not proper," he said.

According to Nusron, land crimes have deeply disturbed the community. The land mafias are known to have built a syndicate in a structured and systematic manner, starting from upstream like village officials.

"Advertisement of letters at the village, sub-district level, this has actually become an entry point," he explained.

This is exacerbated by the weakness of the land legal system in Indonesia which still relies on historical documents.

It is known that the historical documents came from a verbal source, aka a history of land originating from tourists at the village level.

"I have said many times, in any world, including Indonesia, let alone land issues when it comes to history and cooperation issues, disputes will definitely arise. Starting from there," he said.
