BANTUL - The Communication and Information Office (Kominfo) of Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, is still waiting for directions from the local government regarding activities or programs affected by the efficiency of reducing the regional budget (TKD) by 2026.
"For now, we don't know, because yesterday's meeting only discussed in general, overall districts. Well, for each OPD, including us at Kominfo, we are still waiting for further directions," said Head of the Bantul Kominfo Service, Bobot Ariffi Aidin, as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, October 26.
According to him, the Bantul Regency Government will experience a significant reduction in the 2026 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), which is IDR 156 billion to IDR 157 billion compared to 2025.
However, his party has not received any information on whether the amount of TKD allocation for the Bantul Kominfo Service will be reduced, or maintained, or even added.
"Until today there is no information, we have to what to do. Will it be reduced later, will it be fixed, or even added. We are waiting for a policy from the Regent and Deputy Regent," he said.
However, the Bantul Kominfo Service has prepared a number of priority program proposals for 2026. One of them is the expansion of the patriotic internet network which is targeted to reach all urban villages and even schools.
"If our priority proposals go forward, the entire patriotic network is expected to reach schools. We have submitted that for 2026, including the addition of CCTV surveillance cameras at several points," he said.
